City life

A few days ago, Landon and I decided to take the kids for a stroll to the park and to grab some dinner. It was absolutely perfect. We played soccer with Maya and walked to one of our favorite local joints for a delicious dinner. Afterwards, we stopped at coffee shop and shared a large hot chocolate. Needless to say, we are really enjoying ourselves downtown!

Something exciting

I have been searching for a new hobby an I think I have one. I hope you all will benefit from it as well. I'll keep everyone updated.

We ALL cry

I feel like the luckiest gal in the world
to be able to stay home with my babies
There are definite pros and cons to this job
And for those of you who don't think it's a job,
try it for a few months and then tell me it is not.
I love and cherish most moments of the day
and then there are some moments when Ever is
crying, and then Maya starts crying. Those moments
leave me feeling about like this...

2012 goals

Cherish all those little moments with my kids.
My biggest goal for 2012 is to just really soak
up the blessing of being a mom. I have always
enjoyed it but I really want to dig my heels into it.

Leave the babies at home from time to time to spend
time with my sweet husband and/or friends.

Slowly get back into shape from my last pregnancy.
I have started running again with my buddy, Lauran.
Keep this up and other cardiovascular activities as well.

Stay off the phone/computer/ipad and just enjoy life.
Reading and crafting would be good substitutes.

Everett Nols Pennington

Our perfect baby boy, Everett.
November 23, 2011 (born on due date)
7 pounds 8 ounces
20 inches long

I have every intention on sharing the birth story when the time feels right.
It was not how I imagined but was so well worth it. I have the healthiest, sweetest
baby boy who stole my heart right away.

I could squeeze her!

Maya has a new brother & needed some extra strong hugs today from her mama!

30 weeks

I took this picture of my baby bump today.
It is growing quickly! I am ready to meet our
little "birdy" but not quite prepared for his arrival.
We have not picked a name yet, everything we own
is pretty much in boxes. I have no idea where all
my baby gear is stored, no nursery.
Needless to say, I am feeling pretty stressed.
Thank goodness I am as laid back as I am
because I am somehow remaining cool through
the chaos. It will all start feeling better really soon
as we are super close to moving into our sweet home.
We look forward to meeting our little bird
and LOVE HIM to pieces already!
