Boone Weather

Check out Rays weather predictions for the week
The latest round of snow showers and flurries are inbound to the High Country and will continue off and on overnight and Tuesday. Snow amounts by Tuesday night will be between a dusting to 3" for most (more west, less east); however, higher elevations and western upslope areas (right along the NC/TN line... Pond Mtn, Three Top, Rich Mtn, Beech Mtn, Roan, and then SW to the Smokies) will pick up 3"-8" with isolated double-digit spots. Last Friday I told you that it may be Tuesday before we get above 20 but now it looks a day later as Wednesday is our best chance. The next round of snow begins Thursday afternoon. The coming weekend cold shot looks perhaps even a bit colder than this past weekend.

Looks like I'll be cleaning the house and reading a good book.
If I was smart, I would take this time inside to get organized for
school.....:)
